Get on the ice and become a hockey player for the day!
Try Hockey for Free is a lively and relaxed event for kids ages 4-9 new to hockey. By participating in these events they get the opportunity to try holding a stick, standing up on skates, do a little bit of skating and hitting the puck around.

REQUIRED GEAR
- Helmet: Bring your own. If you do not have a hockey helmet then a bike, lacrosse or ski helmets are also suitable.
- Gloves: If you do not have hockey gloves, winter gloves will work.
- Skates: Bring your own or use the available rentals at Kraken Community Iceplex.
- Hockey Pads: Recommended, but not required.
