Learn to Skate Camps

  • Designed for new skaters and skaters levels Snowplow Sam #1 - 4, Basic Skills #1 - 3, and Hockey Skating #1 - 2
  • 30 minute class followed by 30 minutes of free-skating

Emerald Edge Camps

  • Designed for skaters interested in Figure Skating, levels Basic Skills #4 - 6, and Pre-Freeskate - Freeskate #6
  • 30 minute class followed by 30 minutes of free-skating

Weekly Schedule

  • All classes take place Monday through Thursday, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Skaters sign up for a week at a time.

Learn to Skate Weekly Camps

Our Learn to Skate summer camp is for kids interested in becoming a hockey player, figure skater or just want to skate and have fun on the ice. Learn to Skate programming is a great first step to life-long enjoyment of ice sports. 

Registration opens for skaters new to our programs on March 15th at noon.

Priority registration for skaters currently in our programs opens February 15th at noon.

Required Gear

Required Gear

  • Helmets are mandatory for all ages and levels in Learn to Skate. Hockey helmet with facemask is recommended. Bike, ski and skateboard helmets will work.
  • Ice Skates: Rental skates are provided if you do not have your own.
  • Bring gloves or mittens.
  • Warm clothes: Layers are best, no jeans (Please do not dress your skater up in full hockey gear. If hockey is your interest, as they progress in their skating skills, we will slowly add pieces of equipment.
  • Thin socks. (We all think thick socks are better; not in ice skates!)

*Annual membership valid for July 2023 - June 2024.If you already have a valid USA Learn to Skate number, please contact Guest Services so we can process your registration without applying the US Learn to Skate registration.

Emerald Edge Weekly Camps

Emerald Edge is our bridge program for skaters progressing from Learn to Skate and advancing into Figure Skating. We utilize U.S. Figure Skating's Aspire Program while adding our own Kraken energy and atmosphere. Skaters will work with our group of professional coaches to learn and develop skills including transitions, spins, jumps and more!
