Mission
The mission of the SKIPPERS development program is to foster learning, teamwork and sportsmanship for eligible KSA skaters interested in becoming a skating coach, skating director, or pursuing other opportunities within figure skating.

Program Details
Eligibility
- Skippers must be ages 12 – 17
- Must be a current KSA USFS member
Roles
Apprentice positions:
- Learn to Skate Coach
- Emerald Edge Coach
- Off-ice Coach
- On-ice FS Group Class Coach
- Program Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be on time and show up for classes and events that you are registered for
- Follow and support KSA on-ice etiquette
- Show enthusiasm for KSA programming and fellow members
TEAMWORK OPPORTUNITIES
- Assist in organizing fun program events and activities
- Recognize fellow KSA skaters in achievements and competitions
- Support younger skaters through being a positive role model and showing outstanding sportsmanship
