Hockey Camps

Camps will offer a unique, fresh, and fun training opportunities. Participants will have the chance to try new techniques, hone existing skills, meet new kids, and learn from our highly qualified instructors.

Thanksgiving Break Camp

Join us for our three-day Thanksgiving Camp for players looking to improve their fundamentals. The skill development will include skating, edge work with and without puck, stick handling, shooting, puck protection and small area games.

Players will take part in two 90-minute on-ice sessions and two 50-minute off-ice sessions throughout the all-day camp. *Players will need to bring a packed lunch for each day of camp.

*We are a peanut-free facility. Please do not send your player to the Iceplex with peanut items.

Ages

6-14 years; co-ed

Pre-requisite

Graduated from Learn to Play

Kids will have more fun and be better positioned to participate in this camp if they have hockey experience. They should have at minimum completed a Learn to Play program through the Kraken or other organization.

Duration

Three days, six hours each day.

Required Gear

Players receive a jersey. 

Players must provide their own:

  • Helmet with cage
  • Gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, jock/jill, hockey pants, socks
  • Hockey stick
  • Hockey skates 

Off-ice sessions will include physical activity; players should dress appropriately. 

*Players will need to bring a pack lunch each day or money to purchase food from the concession stand.

*We are a peanut-free facility. Please do not send your player to the Iceplex with peanut items.

Schedule & Cost

Monday, November 22 - Wednesday, November 24

  • Check-in from 8:30-9 a.m.
  • Check-out from 4-4:30 p.m.

*Time windows subject to change based on registration numbers

Each day will consist of two 90-minute on-ice sessions and two 50-minute off-ice sessions. 

$350 for all three days; no single-day admission.

Hockey Skills Development

To continue to develop the game, clinics and camps for players of all ages and skill levels will be available throughout the season focusing on areas such as:

  • Power Skating
  • Goalie Training
  • Shooting
  • Stick Handling
  • Position Specific Training
  • Game Sense and Hockey IQ Training

Participants will try new techniques, fine-tune existing skills, and be challenged with new approaches under instruction from our highly qualified coaches.
