Private Lessons
Kraken Community Iceplex is excited to offer private individual and group hockey lessons open to all players (youth & adult) that have graduated from a Learn to Play hockey class.
Private Lessons
- Individual lessons consist of 1-4 players that skate for a 30-minute session each week.
- Each coach has different availability, please check with them for their most up to date schedule.
- Players must have graduated from beginner hockey to register.
How to register for lessons
- Player request a coach by filling out a brief questionnaire through DaySmart.
- Coach will receive the request and reach out to discuss schedule and pricing options.
- Once a schedule of lessons is agreed to, the coach will charge the players DaySmart account for the ice fees ($16.50 per session).
- Coaches fees are to be paid after each lesson.

Monday - 6-8:30 am
Tuesday - 6-8:30 am
Wednesday 7-8:30 am & 2:15-4:15 pm
Thursday - 7-8:30 am
Friday - 7:30-8:30 am
Summer
Coaches schedules will vary.
Individual Lessons:
Flat rate of $16.50 per session for ice costs. Additional coaches fee to be discussed prior to acceptance.
Gift Cards Available
Looking for the perfect gift for the skater or hockey player in your life? Give them a gift card to the Iceplex! Gift cards can be purchased for any amount and used for any activity the Iceplex offers.
- Login or create your DaySmart account and go to the gift card dashboard linked below.
- There is a minimum amount of $15, but you can also create custom amounts by editing the “Amount” field.
- A redemption code will be sent to both you and the recipient via email.
The purchaser must have an account with DaySmart to purchase and assign to the recipient. Gift cards are valid for Iceplex programming only and are not redeemable at the Kraken Team Store or Starbucks.
