Starbucks Community Stores are committed to economic development and opportunity in underserved communities. They focus on hiring from the community, partnering with nonprofits and working with local artists, and serve as a space for community events and programs.
Unique to the Northgate Community Store at the Iceplex, a percentage of profits support the One Roof Foundation and other local nonprofit organizations. Similar to other Starbucks cafés, this location features a full beverage and food experience for visitors.
The Returnable Cup program is now in place at the Kraken Community Iceplex Starbucks!
This initiative is helping cut down on single-use cup waste by offering customers a convenient and safe way to enjoy their beverages in a reusable cup.
To keep the program successful and sustainable, we kindly remind everyone to return their cup after they’ve enjoyed their beverage. Every returned cup makes a difference!
Here’s how it works:
- Order your drink as usual.
- When done, return your cup to one of the green return bins located throughout KCI.
- Cups will be washed, sanitized and reused.
