KYHA Gear Swap & Sale

Has your youth hockey player outgrown past season's gear, taking up storage space? Bring it in to trade for gear that fits, or buy new gear from KYHA's store and the Kraken's gear sale! Swap and sale locations will be in Rink 1 and the Rink 1 Vestibule.

GEAR SWAP | 1:00pm - 2:30pm

• Now - Aug 1 at 1:00pm, drop off unwanted youth gear at the Iceplex's Guest Services counter. You'll receive one token for every item contributed (ex: one pair of elbow pads = one token).
  
  
• The Gear Swap will be open only to those with tokens. After 2:30pm, the gear swap items will be available to the public with a $10 donation to KYHA.
  
  
• Please note that all gear contributed will be considered donated. All remaining gear will be donated to One Roof Foundation partner schools to improve access to play for their students.

KYHA STORE & KRAKEN GEAR SALE | 1:00pm - 4:00pm

• KYHA will have a shop where you can pick from a wide assortment. Including new gear (mostly smaller sizes), tracksuits, Jr Kraken jerseys, shells and more.
  
  
• The Kraken Team Store will be hosting a second Kraken Gear Sale. Offering a variety of team-used sticks, workout clothes, pucks, gear, Kraken apparel and collectibles.

Try Hockey Officiating for Free

Sunday, August 16 | 10:00am - 12:00pm

Opportunities start with the drop of a puck! USA Hockey invites you to Try Officiating for Free. Participants will receive education in basic fundamentals of officiating as they work a low-level scrimmage with on-ice and off-ice coaching. Additional information regarding officiating certification, memberships and getting started as a ref will be provided at the program.

This session includes 30 minutes in the classroom and 1 hour on the ice.
This coed event is available for ages 13 and older, including adults.
